Anti-Mother was the first album I listened to. Not a bad album. A few standout tracks but the first track Vipers, Snakes And Actors is my shit! I play that particular one almost anytime I'm in the gym or go for a run. Great song.

But Redeemer is on a whole other level in comparison. It's just way heavier and I enjoy that aspect of them much more except when they do things like Falling From The Sky on Meridional.

Redeemer was so good on first listen back in 06 and it still rules. That first track leaves such a good impression.

Anti Mother and Meridional were both pretty disappointing for me on first listen but I appreciate them way more now, feels like the band going through a more experimental phase. Still jam them often.

Meridional was practically instant for me. By track 5 I was so damn hooked.

The heavier tracks drew me in but I was still put off by their decision to focus on melody so much. Of course now I think it was a really good decision, just had to get over my youthful angst lol

this is exactly how i felt/reacted to Meridional, now i've come to realize over the years that Meridional rules

Shelby Cinca's vocals on Everlasting Tapeworm are rad. Norma Jean has always had great guest spots.

This album sounds like these guys listened to Disambiguation by Underoath and got really inspired before they started writing.

Great album though.
