I love the final track though. Definitely the most beautiful track on here.

The Flame (Is Gone)/The Fire (Remains) are two of some of the best songs these guys have ever written imo

The musical reprisals of Moon/Awake later in the album in the songs Blood and A Beginning are brilliant

The opening melody of Cascade sounds like a soundtrack to a summer’s night out in a village near the Garda lake

It's good. Won't lie, I expected it to be even better but that's where reality meets expectations. It's much slower and perhaps too slow for me to feel all of it. Favourite songs?
Cascade and The Revival (I think that's obvious)
Who Am I - I love how the song changes once it gets to the slow part. Brilliant, you've got balls Casey.
The Haves Have Naught - I didnt know how to feel about this one at the beggining. It sure stands out from other songs on the album, especially with vocals. I needed some time with this song but it really grew well in me, especially part with duo later in.
Gloria, The March - also obvious choices. Catchy chorus, interesting composition, little winks to previous albums.
The Blood - some more changes compared to Casey's usual songwriting. Usually songs from TDH are either slow or fast (with occasional slow part at the end). This is different as he starts utilizing bigger tempo changes between parts of choruses and verses. Just as (i suppose) planned, it hits you in the face with IM A KILLER.
Overall really strong album, as usual. Songwriting is as high as always and we can all clearly hear how it started being more mature in comparison with other acts. I'm really curious where will Act VI take us to, both musically and with the story.

Think it's confirmed Act VI won't be an album, it'll be interesting what Casey does to rap it up

I would much rather they continue of the sounds of this album with a darker tone to finish it all off but Casey is an amazing artist so I will keep open minded

It won't be an album? Aww. That'd be so interesting to see Casey rapping though lol
I think it might be a single where protagonist looks at his life since it began. Or his wife hearing the story of what happened and thinking about him. Idk, worth waiting for 100% tho

I think people here were thinking it could be a film. That would be interesting.

film + soundtrack where the soundtrack is just a very cohesive album pls
even if it's instrumental. I mean, casey's already written a symphony

I mean, the plot of the Acts could already be transformed into movie easily, maybe even 2. If Act I was presented in short 10 minutes we could get 2h movie easily. That'd be amazing.
On the other hand, that'd be unfair knowing that Scenes From Memory never got one.

Has any concept album been adapted to a movie format?
