honestly dude people were just jealous, some pretty dumb stuff really, believe or not there was a pretty big deathcore and metalcore scene in Mexico around the same time these guys started getting buzz and dropping their early material and music videos, however they were the only ones clinging on for that post sound. So they were too soft to hang with the br00tal crowd yet heavy and aggressive enough to do it with a an alt crowd or whatever, some folks really just didn't comprehend their sound and their approach to it, I heard they always had a tough time when sharing the stage with some of those bands. Even I am guilty of trash talking them, the first time I heard of the band was through some core dudes talking about this rich kids trying to rip off Glassjaw and singing in spanish, I'm not even making that up, they got some dirt for singing in their mother tongue while the rest of the bands were doing the opposite. So me being an idiot at that time just went along with that narrative, I can now say that I deeply regret that childish behavior, luckily this band is still around putting killer material out while most of those other bands are dead and gone
