Still jamming this at least twice a day. Still have about five different choruses or leads stuck in my head all day. That little weird flute like synth that comes in on the second verse of Youth gets me every time. I think this is at least a 4.

album's impeccably crafted agreed

At first the whole album feels really free and organic but when you listen a few times you realise just how precise all of the little moves they make to build verses into choruses and add little differences to second verses to keep it interesting.

That distorted 'rap' part at the end of the second song is so fucking dumb

I dunno boys this sure has moments but a lot of it is also like super painfully whack. Zaba was way better.

Zaba is indeed better. This is still solid overall despite some underwhelming songs.

Some of the lyrics are absolute song ruiners

Better? I dunno. Why less distractingly retarded? Probs.

ehh idk I like this a bit better than Zaba. if you're listening to glass animals for the lyrics you're doing it wrong aha. not that I mind then, they are pretty cool sometimes

Pots do you have the songs in the wrong order? That weird distorted rap bit is on Cane Shuga which is track six. If you have that as your second track you may have done a Radiohead and alphabetised your album.

Because not liking the lyrics means you are ~listening to a band for the lyrics~? Stupid logic.
Just because a band isnt ~about the lyrics~ it doesn't excuse awful lyrics. Besides a lot of the music itself is super underwhelming and forced and a lot of the chorus' suck

But what about the AOOF noise on The Other Side of Paradise

these guys are obviously more electronic based potsy, thought even you could see that. and the lyrics arent even that bad. a lot of their concepts and themes are really interesting, even if the execution isnt the best it could've been
