I have a lot of issues with Coachella as a concept and I think traveling to see an artist perform is almost universally a terrible idea, but the man had multiple years to prepare his set and it was the opportunity he provided fans to see him perform. He treated those he shared the stage with poorly (allegedly) and cancelled the second weekend's set after people specifically bought tickets for him, while completely phoning it in with the one he did actually perform.

I don't think that in a vacuum would point to a fall off, but you've got plenty of other stuff like his poor handling of merch and the 10k cock rings that do kinda suggest a general contempt of his audience lol

I don't care how long he takes in between releases but his latest music has been bad. People paid thousands of dollars from all over the world to attend Coachella and he pretty much shit on them. Not only did he give a mediocre performance, but he made the stage crew scrap his stage idea at the last minute on some superstar shit. Supporters who weren't there were probably looking forward to a live stream as well. He should be happy he is still headlining off the strength of this album. I'm not trying to feed in the narrative but this is personally why I lost respect for him. I do probably have some bias here as someone who has been involved in promotion/show set up over the years.
