I agree with some of your points but this review feels a bit too harsh. I personally enjoyed a handful of songs here, and Blood In My Mouth is one of their best tracks to date.

made the mistake of doing warped tour whilst visiting Cali last year and saw these guys. no idea why the clean singer insists on doing stuff in studio he can't even attempt live.
i always thought it was "jeff", not "death". i guess that's the nicer approach.

I really do not like this band. their earlier stuff is somewhat decent but their last 3 albums are soooo middle of the road, do not see the hype at all.

I think the hype is now dying. Hopefully they take a long break after this and come back in like 3-4 years. No doubt their label has other ideas and they'll release the same album a 4th time meh
