Really enjoyed that, my only real complaint is that I wish it was 10+ minutes longer, which is hardly a criticism. Im feeling a tentative 4 with the very real possibility of increasing to a 4.5 if repeated listens justify it.

This was even better with the second listen, really interesting cosmic sound but not overdone like with some space metal. Can someone point me in the direction of something similar?

I heard the first track on at a late night pizza place in Austin that plays metal tunes on Saturday night. Terrible pizza but great times.

Probably the best DM record since BDH. May even surpass it imo
|
| |
First off, I love how the record somehow maintains a balance of ambition and restraint, never getting to a point where it becomes self indulgent. At its core, this is Death Metal at its purest, with the extra bonus of a celestial tone that is as airy is as it is cold, yet still maintaining the punch of OSDM instrumentation.
It's almost as if this album was tailor-made for me, as it checks off every box and then some in what I consider a spectacular DM record.

Yeah it's excellent. My LP came today, artwork rules.
|
| |
First track is amazing
|
| |
A bunch of guys were trying to convince me the artwork is crappy because the font is high res while the art is not.
What kind of argument is that
"artwork rules."
