I love the variety in song structure throughout this. Like there isn't even a clean chorus until the 3rd track.



I swear on heavener it felt like at times they were trying to balance the heavy & softer moments almost 50/50.

Yea they've definitely become a "needs a chorus!" band since Ben left, which is a shame because I always feel it detracts from what we could get otherwise. I still dig them but they're in a groove now that I'm starting to grow tired of

I actually really like how everything sounds on heavener & there are some really good moments & riffs sprinkled throughout it too, I just think the songwriting could be better.



I wish they would take the best parts of this and their new sound and have a baby lol
