Their vocalist needs training. He ruins the record for me. There seems to some cool instrumental ideas at play, but trying to appreciate anything else gets difficult when the vocalist is constant splurging on every track.

He sounds amazing, he's refined the style that he has had since the first EP. His lows are full and hit hard, his yells are piercing, and his cleans are perfect for this style

I don't have a big problem with his lows (although they aren't great). I think his cleans, although generic, are well done. It's those yells that are cringe inducing. His overdramatic delivery makes him sound like he doesn't have a lot of control of his voice. It's a very raw performance that strikes me as amateur.
Anyway, just my opinion. I just find it interesting that we're hearing completely different things.

Well I can see where you're coming from, I dig it tho. That's why music is such a divisive topic haha, it's all subjective man.
And Mars I 5'd it back in like February I wanna say? I felt like it deserved it after listening to it so much and loving it more and more with each listen. I appreciate what each track brings to the table, and they play this style to the best of its potential imo. It was my favorite album of last year for a lot of reasons haha

I saw the new Sworn In video and looked at the related artists and King 810 was one of them. I remembered my friend really liked them so I gave it a whirl, and boy did I regret it as you can tell from the 1 lmao
