The whole of Limbo, Panto has this bruised, British, boarding school feel to it. I can't get enough of it.

Bruised British boarding school feel.

If you play the record backwards can you hear someone getting bummed?

Her fruit was ripe, I bit

Her fruit was ripe, I bit

pungent juice wept from the bruise

where the skin was sluice and slobbered on

though the meat was fleshy and sweet

she purred while I grrred

I think you're starting to enter into the spirit of the Wild Beasts world Zak...

'But IIIIIIIIII only winded that lad before he bolted and IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII only fumbled that lass - besides I was revolted. So for fogiveness, with me boys at witness, take these chips with cheese AS AN OFFERING OF PEEEEAAACE...please sir oh please sir oh please sir oh please sir oh please sir uh oh oh uh oh'

Most unique British indie band in years. Eat Elbow for breakfast. Shit all over Arctic Monkeys.

Zak you might prefer the second vocalist in the band who sings like how everyone wishes Guy Garvey could actually sing.

Spin 'Two Dancers (II)', if you like Elbow and don't like that it's a raise the eyebrow moment from the Doofster

That wasn't bad at all and I can defo see the Guy Garvey comparison but Guy is different league and more importantly he's a fella who sings it from the bottom of a pint glass not the back of the art college dorm room.

Ha, the daughters album does indeed sound great

I like the idea of Elbow more than the reality, their albums do get 'latter say U2 boring' a lot of the time however many of years of alcoholic abuse Garvey subjected himself to

Not every band has to have lived it, I mean Radiohead must be more public school studio nerds than Wild Beasts

Elbow are one of those bands if I put the time in to listen to every album and put my top 12 songs by them on the one disc it's an easy 5/5

My Sad Captains sounds like one of those songs

The rest of their stuff just sinks into the background without a whimper
