I'm pretty sure you'll like 'em all Atari, we share a lot of similarities in taste when it comes to black metal.
Oh, and Fyrnask, also check that if you haven't!

This is a pretty cool record. I actually like the deadpanned singing on here, it gives an almost gothic quality to those tracks that I dig quite a bit. Needs to do some growing and relistening though, considering I really liked Melancholie².

They're so different, but this is honestly a masterpiece too imo.

they're indeed different, but this is still far from an alienating release I think.

Yeah, cleans fuckin rule.
The more I listen the more cohesive it feels to me. At first I was a little disappointed at the (relative) lack of sonic variety and progression within each track, but after a bunch of listens, that variety is spread over the course of the album and the whole thing is just so damn smooth!
Excellent review btw Atari, a pleasure to read.

thanks yo, glad you liked it
and agreed. there's definitely a good amount of variety, but it's very subtle.

This is good, but the production isn't sharp enough for me. That's what set him apart before.

It's just too good. I'm not putting it on Melancholie's level yet, but it's not far behind.

Idk i just dig the atmosphere a lot more in Melancholie than this
