Doof's reasoning from the thread: "I think however much someone likes this they have to see that it could be regarded as highly (overly?) polished, that it has vocals that could be regarded gutless/precious/saccharine and that the compositions are an acquired taste as they manage to be both wafty/drifty and choppy/stop-starty."

haven't listened to this as much lately now that it's not summer, but album is still a jam, hovering around my top 10 of the year still

The only thing I hate about this is you can't understand the lyrics most of the time when the vocalist sings. He needs to work on clearing his accent. Other than that, this album is perfect.

Osaka Son is one of the prettiest songs of the year and 17 New Years is such a brilliant opener.
