I'm not feeling the new track personally, I do wish they'd do something about that mixing.

Joe clearly isn't a great producer, the guitars sound so dry and thin.

It’s weird though, because he’s also the one who produced The Way of All Flesh and that album sounds amazing. So I’m not sure what happened here

And yeah, as for the song... it wasn’t too good 😞 I’m really starting to get worried that this next album will be my least favorite of theirs so far if the singles are anything to go by

Not surprised with the drop off in quality tbh, this one is even a chore to get through nowadays.

The riffs on the new singles are so generic as well, just chugging grooves with a weird effect thrown in every now and then.

I retract what I said about Joe as a producer but he's really got it wrong on the new tracks.

The band needs that thick production to bring those monstrous grooves to life

Amazonia is the only single I've like so far. Thought the others were a pure slog.

Born for One Thing is the only one I’ve liked so far, and even then it pales in comparison to most of the band’s older stuff

"New single is just plain bad tbh."

That's a little too harsh imo, i don't find it bad per se, just a kinda underwhelming, chorus' riff is weak and lacks punch, we need those Godzilla steps riffs again

That's overall the main issue, it's all decent but is not enough

Kinda scared to listen to the new song... it seems to have the most negative reception out of all the singles so far :[

Are you referring to The Chant? That’s the one I’m talking about

No, i mean Into The Storm, didn't knew they released another single. I just finished listening to it and it's pretty chill but i don't love it, the mixing is flat, something it's not right with the overall sound of this album
