honestly im not even sure what youre referring to when youre talking about the "inane, superficial bullshit"
|

Disposable, churned out compilations for the masses to make a quick buck. You cunts mastered it back in the '50s

Cherry Poppin Daddies were an extremely interesting and cool band up to Susquehannah, everything else after that has been pretty damn lame and lazy. Funny thing is, they were always best when they got close to ska-punk, which makes Kids On The Street basically their best album. Go figure.
Oh, wait, Rapid City Muscle Car. Now this bad boy is just perfect.

| |
the UK embrace these more than we do, you guys make them DOUBLE ALBUMS ffs.
|
| |
Yes, we are a massive bunch of bellends.
|
| |
Cherry Poppin' Daddies suck
'nuff said
|
| |
Have you ever listened to anything besides their "swing" stuff? They were an extremely versatile band.
|
| |
we're all a bunch of twats agreed
|
| |
Ok true to be fair I've only heard their swing songs all of which I found so terrible I just assumed that every thing else they did was equally bad.
|
| |
Check out Kids On The Street, that was a pretty damn sweet ska-punk album.
These guys were always at their absolute worst when they tried to do swing. That they got famous off of that has been bugging me forever, especially as a big former fan.

Now was originally a UK series you idiot lol
US has 58, but the UK has 93.

So when do we start the series of Kidz Bop reviews?

Lead the way BlackLlama

swing is what Louie is king of, the jungle V.I.P.

That's right ars. The entire basis of consumerism is down to how many Now That's What I Call Music compilations a nation has stockpiled.
|
| |
Ars is right though, Now compilations are one of the main indicators used by Government think tanks to ascertain the general level of depravity in a given population
|
| |
Radiohead's on the first NOW album? lmao
|
| |
It's very funny. You don't see any shit from King of Limbs on Now 37. As unsurprisingly it is that their music is still influential today, it would still be surprising, say they did release something this year, to see one of their tracks spliced between Doja Cat on Now 105.
Now, of course, they've evolved to have That's what I call chill, party songs forgotten 80s, car songs, songs to get sucked off to.

Album Rating: 3.0
So, in some interpretation of this universe and reality- this could now be considered a classic, yes?
