Dude when did they ever make it apparent in the movie that she was a better pilot then Han?

They didn't.
Ever.

I don't know I just like episode 7.

Basically she knew Han's ship better than himself.
And I don't know if she's a better pilot than Han, but that movement she did with the ship when evading the TIE Fighter was such bullshit, because that was basically the best maneuver ever and it was performed by a girl who has NO experience on how to even fly a ship. It was all made for the corny effect, but it made 0 sense.

At least Phantom was a 'reboot' rather than Ep 7's 'retread' - both are bad, the thing is Menace looks awful with terrible spacecraft designs, etc while the new one looks a million dollars...but dip below the surface it's equally lacking

| |
I really like episode 7, for me at least the similarity to A New Hope heightened the nostalgia factor more than it detracted from my interest in the plot.
|
| |
I mean it's not the greatest movie ever (it's like a 7.5-8/10 to each of the original trilogy's 9-10/10) but it's nowhere near as poor as Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones.
|
| |
I didn't like it - casting was poor, plot displayed zero creativity, and worse it made the old characters look out of place
I guess it's a 5/10 to Phantom Menace's 2.5/10

Episode 7 is far better than the prequels, and in some ways better than ROTJ. It redeemed the series basically, not mentioning midichlorians or any of the stupidity of how the prequels temporarily ruined the force.
Also each prequel is largely better than the previous one, despite 1 not being bogged down in special effects, almost everything else about it was a mess. I don't mind the prequels though, I'll always like a lot of things about them, despite how the Plinkett reviews opened my eyes to them.

I'm like the only one who really likes Phantom Menace, and that's ok with me.
|
| |
I don't remember minding The Phantom Menace, but I was also way too young when I last saw it to be able to make a fair judgement now.
The Force Awakens is definitely overrated, though.

The only part of the Force Awakens that kind of bothered me was blowing up another death star and repeating all that from the original movies, but the emotional climax in the snowy forest and very last scene were amazing, and among the finest moments of the whole saga. The new characters were great too, and Harrison Ford actually looked engaged and excited to be in a movie for the first time in decades lol

He was so energetic because it was last Star Wars movie

Definitive Star Wars ranking: 5 > 4 > 6 > 7 > 3 > 2 > 1
As a kid I liked the prequels but in retrospect I see how bad they are. Revenge of the Sith is pretty good though.

Switch 1 and 2 around tbh

Boney's ranking is the exact same as mine. Despite some problems, I still love ROTS. It's very different, and dark for a big budget sci-fi movie, just in context of film in general.
That scene with Anakin and Padme communicating through the force after he learns about Palpatine is probably the best scene of the prequels.
|
| |
I'd say 5 > 4 > 3 > 7 > 6 > 1 > 2.
|

Revenge of the Sith is actually a really good movie. The only bad thing about it is Hayden Christensen.

5>4>7>6>3>2>1
Despite it's derivative nature I thought 7 was fantastic and I immediately sucked in because of the new characters.

It was a lot of bad but it's alright
