Honestly I can't insert TFA into my ranking just yet. Sometimes it's better then ROTJ, sometimes it's barely better then Phantom Menace.

whatever nostalgia you might have for the phantom menace because you grew up with it, it's infinitely more annoying than attack of the clones

Im just saying that the entire franchise has copped out, even though I agree the ground split was complete bullshit the rest of the fight was amazing.

also maybe not a cop out, but how the fuck did luke fall into the exact correct garbage chute that would get him to fall on an antenna without dying and also being found by the others? Thats also some high BS even though I like that movie the most.

The scene where Anakin's mom dies is like a top 10 scene in the entire saga though.

I have no nostalgia for Phantom Menace and I just saw the entire franchise a few months back and I was having way more issues with episode 2 than episode 1. Episode 1 has a few MAJOR central problems, but episode 2 is just one issue after the next.

I gotta say I kinda agree with Alchemist.

Force Awakens was MASSIVELY overhyped and while it is a pretty good film, I wasn't as sold on it as apparently the rest of human race was...

Also @Alchemist - is it because it's coarse, rough, irritating and gets everywhere?

Kylo is by far the weakest dark side user we have seen in a movie, while Rey is already a skilled fighter with melee weapons. Didn't seem that unrealistic to me.

I have my issues with episode 7 for sure, and I don't see how the staff argument is bad. This entire franchise has its fair share of issues with movies.

Also to play devils advocate, "the force' was always some kind of plot device for characters to pull off insane bullshit like Luke at the end of episode 5 somehow magically falling into the very specific garbage chutes that would get him saved by the Falcon.

nah ive yet to see anyone point to any reason why 2 is the worst of the series other than cherry picking some of anakin's lines (even though 1 had far worse dialogue overall)

Honestly nothing in the prequels is more awkward then that scene in VI where Luke and Leia have that convo, and then Han walks in like "Whats wrong what happened" and Leia's like "Leave me alonnneeee"

Ugh. I hate that scene. There are so many useless scenes in VI, really...

Leia goes from being a total badass in IV to being kind of a weak character in VI. It sucks.
