"What up with the negs"
It's either:
A. This is a bad review
B. People mad I trashes RHCP.
Also Alc, I appreciate your response. I'll make sure to write a response to it and adjust my review a tad after I get home and can type from a computer instead of a phone.

I answer B!
Did I get it right?

They just don't understand the plight of being an underclass hero.

What the fuck is wrong with Underclass Hero?

It rips off every big name 2006. You could take a shot for every band it rips off, rather it be blue october, yellow card, MCR, or even themselves (Pull the Certain ends with an outro that rips Were All To Blame)

But it's a rip-off with Sum 41's signature style. "Speak of the Devil", "With Me", and "Walking Disaster" are a few of my favorite Sum 41 songs.

their style is on autopilot tho, you go from Infected and Chuck to Underclass and its a massive wtf.

To be fair, Chuck was incredible and it would be super hard for any bad to make a worthy follow up to that.

Ok back on a computer!
@Alc, for the claim thing, I was referring to it as if the RHCP itself was some kind of sentient force that can claim the "mainstream relevance". Less so like they were actually saying WE ARE RELEVANT AND POPULAR >: (. Unless im misunderstanding your point there.
Also, wasnt the band on hiatus between Californiacation/Stadium Arcadium and Im With You/This album? I couldve sworn I remember readint that this album was considered a comeback from hiatus. Either way, it goes to show that even if they've taken breaks it hasnt prevented them from making music and still having mainstream significance.
I agree with the third paragraph being wonky and the fourth one having some issues, and I dont know if I wasnt being clear, but when I say the best tracks on here deviate from Danger Mouse's idea sound set, im not considering it an experimental break, Im seeing it as them just taking things slower for their age. Not exactly them being "experimental" while on their last record you had some weird shit like the vocal chopping in Monarchy of Roses or some Beach Boys inspired stuff like Happiness Loves Company. So im gonna to stick to my guns on that one, as I feel like people more familiar with RHCP know what im talking about (hopefully)
Also no need to apologize, I appreciate you took the time to read and rightfully criticize any mistakes you felt like I made. Its far more helpful for me as a writer than the person who ghost negs/pos' the review.
