They'll bitch about it online and then go buy a copy for their collection even though they already own all of the songs.

A Tool fan can never be biased. Only enlightened. Boom.

Really though most fans would spin it positively somehow. Saying its the bands way of communicating fallen ideals in a suffocating cultural construct, or something.

I doubt my aforementioned idea will come to light (ever) but it was just a funny thought.

They need to release some live DVD shit. I don't care if Maynard says that it shouldn't be experienced on a screen, some people can't make it to shows and that's why they buy the DVDs!

I doubt Tool will ever in a million years release a Compilation, they already don't allow the

purchasing or streaming of their music online. Most compilations are made for cash grabs by the record

companies when a band is on hiatus/not pumping out a new album anytime soon; they'd be more worried

making money off their records online first before throwing a Greatest Hits together.

That fucker hasn't even been outside of the U.S. for quite some years now. He's trolling us Europeans. FIRE ZE FRENCH AT HIM!

Define not allowing to purchase their music online (as download maybe) because I'm pretty damn sure there are quite some online stores with their albums.

I would only care about a live DVD if they have some good footage archived from 2002 or earlier.

The first comment about "Greatest Hits" (mine) was a joke. I am highly aware of the fact that Tool

will (most likely) never release a compilation album.

On a similar note, "Sober" is easily my favorite single of theirs. It's the most simple too.

I wouldn't consider Tool grunge...though they do have grunge elements.
