One of the most vibrant and best produced metal album of last year imo

sadly i completely disagree, sounds flat, there's like no weight to the rhythm guitar at all

Yep, unfortunately the production leaves a little to be desired.

Damn I thought the vocals were sick. I like how guttural they are

they've definitely improved a lot since their first album, but there's something about them that still bother me. reminds me of omnium gatherum's vox

this is the first album on which they didn't bother me, but it's not like I really like them now or something, they're just there. but oh man OG's vox really annoy me.

I've been jammig to this album on studio grade acoustics/amp, its indeed a bit compressed, especialy rhytm guitar, i can feel its a good recorded material (acoustic guitars are not compressed at all and sound very vibrant), most likely needs a better mastering.

There are some excellent sounding metal albums though. I just feel like this could have a little bit more polished sound for ultimate success.

yea i like some OG but their vox are a huge turn-off. but with be'lakor the vox can easily be written off just by how good everything else is. it's just a pet peeve i suppose
