I'm really enjoying this, probably listened to this band before but didn't like them now, this album is great!

The sound of the instrumentation is so soft and glossy that the vocals feel kinda out of place

I hope the production is better on the CD, it indeed isn't that good on the stream

I think my main gripe with the band is summed up pretty well in Crimson's review of Stone's Reach.

"Songs ebb and flow with separate climaxes and never rely on a gimmick or a catchy riff to carry them or keep the listener interested."

These guys are like the BTBAM of melo-death, and while their stuff is enjoyable, I find I only truly enjoy a Be'lakor album once I have listened to it 7000 times and memorised every riff to a tee.

Vessels seems to be a similar deal, only less intriguing than anything before it. Doubt I'll be paying this much attention.

good
melodeath
in
20
16?

Will have to check

One question though. Does this bring the RIFFS and AGGRESSION? Or is it just a melodic metal album with death metal growls?

In the review I make it clear this trends strongly toward the latter although I'd be hesitant to call it "melodic metal with death metal growls".
