I get that but I dunno. I also think that most people that are legitimately into punk knew about them before that article. Also, even a largely inclusive and leftist community like punk has plenty of its assholes. So they would've never been entirely safe from that scrutiny. I figure they could have said what they had to say to more people, even though it wasn't necessarily their responsibility or anything like that.
