I don’t think there’s any way to know that he’s saying “shit” at the end, it’s too distorted to make it out. I’m sure a lot of people would like to believe he’s saying that but I kind of doubt it. At least with Norma Jean and mewithoutYou they actually printed the swearing in the lyrics on their latest albums but it’s not listed anywhere on Thrice’s stuff

Saw them play Blood on the Sand live about a year ago and specifically payed attention to the ending to try and figure it out.

He totally says "shit."

Lol that video definitely proved me wrong. Dustin got edgy

What’s going on with these once wholesome bands swearing somewhat unintelligibly in one song

This is almost as bad as the uproar over when Chevelle said bastard that one time.

Norma Jean and mewithoutYou both subtly put “fuck” in their most recent albums so there’s clearly a conspiracy

Norma’s was really similar to the Thrice usage. Corey slurred the word to the point that you can’t really tell without reading the lyrics

Those are three of the best on here, along with The Long Defeat/Seneca and Death From Above. It'd be great if they decide to make another.

I'm still not to keen on this (at least versus Thrice's general discog). I mean it's good obviously, but it's just...kinda...Thrice by numbers and not enough hooks to warrant additional listens. See: Converge - The Dusk In Us.

Very average outing for the most part, in my opinion, but it has a few really nice tracks. Might bump to a 3, but I don't ever find myself wanting to listen to this.

Agree with Sowing. They made their best album in Major/Minor IMO and this feels like a step down. Still good, just not AS good.
