Follow The Water still has one of the dankest opening riffs in all of metalcore, and they were all so young when that album came out. Tom can never be replaced.

whenever i go back to it I'm always like "oh yeah Dethroned I remember that's one of the lesser songs on the album, better skip and listen to Numbers Count For Nothing/Follow The Water", then I listen to it anyway and I'm like shit it still fucking slams ofc it does
"Follow The Water still has one of the dankest opening riffs in all of metalcore,"

Did anyone watch the footage from their Brixton Academy show a couple nights ago? Pretty moving shit.

I'd be pretty damn down to see these guys live, but idk what the crowd would be like in the US. Metal/'core' show crowds get weirder and weirder lately..

When they're headlining the crowd is always awesome. (Seen them seven times) if they're not headlining the crowd usually sucks

I loved Architects ever since Hollow Crown was released.
Maybe not a ground breaking record, but it helped me find one of my favorite bands of all time.
I love AOGHAU a lot, and I still find myself listening to it every now and then, just like any other Architects record.
Great Review

Listened to this again for the first time in like a year or more.... The first track just starts this off so well, then it all really feels like Tom's swan song (with memento mori being more obvious track in that regard)
Also, the production on this is absolutely flawless

"Nihilist" is one of my favorite opening tracks of any metal record. I've sadly grown quite weary of their sound since Holy Hell but this record will always hold a special place in my heart.
