While 2112 and Hemispheres might have my favorite Rush moments overall, the '81-'85 period was their most consistent imo

This is simply in my top 3 of Rush, I have to admit. I guess, I like this mild 80s influence on the production since I grew up with 80s music. Still, the songwriting is strong as well, of course.

The fucking canada of music review sites gave this a 3/5.

You'd think they'd give Rush what it deserves, being from canada and all.

I have not jammed Snakes but I have jammed Counterparts. It's got a few great songs but it didn't do much for me the first go around. It feels...too straightforward compared to their previous material for me. The albums Fly by Night to Hold Your Fire I really like but I'm not impressed in their stuff after that minus a few songs.

Next train station is here.

Big Money, is good

Marathon, involved good melodies c/w a nice guitar solo.

Territories, creative piece, with sick guitar work, and slick bass lines.

Middletown Dream, is superb

Great album

I found so reassuring that Rush got a new younger generation of fans.

These younger fans listen to the post-Signals LP with a new perspective that a lot of (56 years) old Rush fan like me, partially lack. For me, it help to appreciate these albums more than before.

Rush deserve this kind of respect.

I just want to say thank you, very resourcing information in many comments/reviews.

Of all i listened to back in the 80-ies, synthRush is few of the bands that still invokes the same wonder as back then. Mystic rythms was my first OMG-experience with Rush (still am) and the whole album is a masterpiece.
