Album Rating: 3.5
its possibly debatable maybe perhaps
i wanted to put this band on the thrash list but casavir said no
even tho he pushed for a bunch of uspm and power/speed/thrash chimeras
anyway band is good
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
ive always seen this included with uspm but its thrash/speed too
before like 1992 power metal is a wider umbrella but today usually just means "sounds like hammerfall"

sanctuary - refuge denied is another power/thrash adjacent record
when thrashier bands lean farther into the tech/prog i tend to stop calling it power metal though, like toxik, heathen, etc. despite this album being heavier than those bands imo
