hits the same boxes as a lot of No Wave does, except she isn't prescriptive about not liking you, more the friend that stops returning your calls. it's not an inclusive album (do the quotable slogan-esque bits sound laced with cyanide to anyone else?) and also works within a very specific eschatological paradigm that's hers to parse. that she manages to construct it so vividly is incredible: that the album is still, somehow, a shit-load of fun is insane.
what im saying is this album makes me want to receive a good spanking : )
