I'm on my 4th listen, but I also heard it 3 times yesterday.

The songs stick so much less than their other albums

That's the kind of judgment that's hard to make so early on - all of Radiohead's other albums are (for me at least) so deeply ingrained that the songs stand out for the mere fact that I've heard them so many times, so of course these songs are going to stand out less

Plus it seems this is very much a vibey album rather than a songy one (if that makes any sense) so I t's not surprising that the songs don't stand out individually a whole ton (yet).

I can agree with that but it doesn't detract from it for me.

I really like the emphasis on piano too.

Album has been out 1 1/2 days and I'm already tired of talking about it : ((

Yeah. I really love this. "Burn the Witch" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier (blah blah)" were the only weaker points here. Rest are 4.5-5 songs. Especially "Daydreaming," "Glass Eyes," and "Ful Stop." I think this is their best since Kid A

Teetering between a 3.5 and 4. There are some gems for sure, but I just wish there'd be more changes in mood. Also, it sort of has the same issue I have with a lot of Radiohead records (which seems to be the case for a couple more people apparently): I don't find myself wanting to return to it to much.

I'm not sure why people are finding Tinker Tailor to be one of the weaker ones on here when it's among one of the most unique and intense on here.

Upon 4th listen, my current impression is that most of this is just Radiohead going through the motions, which is sad since TKOL was the exact opposite of that.

Except Radiohead going through the motions is better than pretty much all other artists at their very best.

Radiohead "going through the motions" means their production often needs to compensate and it doesn't always mask that tone enough, unfortunately
