yeah it's pretty interesting. They are all pretty unique and different though so I could easily see someone who's like "I need 1000 sick riffs in every song" 5 black future, vs someone who was blown away by the massive scope of TR. TR is like a space thrash opera, not sure it's gonna gel with everyone. I dig it though

Production is a touch on the loud side. They repeat ideas in the middle - I think there’s a fairly obvious drop off between the early/late album segments (‘Ultimate Artificer/Pterodactyl’ being weak points). Despite the plethora of riffs it’s overly reliant on vocal hooks for those big moments, which isn’t/wasn’t necessarily an issue (just guess it was satisfying initially but didn’t hold up all that well).
Mostly the overbearing loudness/dynamics thing, which is weird because it hadn’t bothered me before.
