Everyone goes on about technicality with these guys (understandably, I guess) but what makes this so brilliant is the progressive song-writing & how damn catchy this thing is. Hooks everywhere... riffs upon riffs, infectious melodies & even the odd memorable chorus.
I feel like maybe I don't hear the same album sometimes, haha.

^ fully agree with you demon, just want to add how the concept of this album takes it to even another level, you have an entire sci-fi epic accompanied by beautifully crafted prog thrash, I mean what else do you want in life

I dunno, it's hard to beat charging the void the song. overall though outer isolation has some amazing ideas on it, it's also the heaviest and darkest one

I might 5 this. It’s too good. Last 3 tracks are perfect, first 3 might be too. Middle isn’t half bad either. Overused descriptor for music but in this case ‘epic’ really is justified.
