dont really get the reference to daredevil but yeah its kind of jaded to say one persons suffering is more genuine than anothers considering the sense of suffering itself is completely subjective. everyone suffers and everyone suffers differently but you can only perceive your own first hand.
saying one person has more genuine reasons to suffer kind of almost ironically devalues the authenticity of the act of suffering itself.
its like saying one art is more art than another art
