For some reason I enjoyed this much more than their follow up. My biggest gripe with this band is that the vocalist sometimes uses overly simple rhymes that grate on me. But I can set that aside much more easily on this album.

Vocalist is versatile af yet full of feeling and soul...I saw some comment here calling this sterile...wtf!? For me is precisely a lesson how to not be that...unlike some bands I enjoy, but pass that sterile feel, much because they try to be everywhere that they get nowhere...def not the case here...
This has that elegance factor yes.

Closer is incredible emotionally m/m/ hard vibes from lots of bands I love (late PTW, Masto, ETID right at the start of track 1, even ATDI at times...anbd we could keep going) and I can't say enough about this vocal performance.
