Otherwise Disappointing Life through Lump Street's a brilliant stretch, as well

This is the kind of album you could trim down and rearrange into an easy 4.5

I kinda wish there was more variation. It starts so strong but the plodding pace really drags it down by the end

and thats why i felt like bumping it down. individually the songs stand very well (except Blood Under the Bridge, but i even like that one because of the lyrics), but altogether it does start getting a little monotonous.

I find Swans meat too sour, Frightened Rabbit flesh a little too sweet. The National are just right.

i have the same qualms as everyone else just with different songs, lol. i don't really care for lump street, they basically already did it with state hospital from the last LP and it kinda sticks out on this album. but i really like break, little drum and blood under the bridge which seem to be the lesser liked tracks here.

die like a rich boy is a fucking amazing track, though.

First 4 tracks were awesome, then it became stale for a while until "Die like a rich boy" lifted it again.

Review is great though.

I dont see Queen Is Dead as a breakup album. Disintegration, maybe. Not a fan of Death Cab.
