Really enjoyed Approaching Transition, specially the first half. Has a distinct Cult of Luna vibe to it, idk
|
| |
Yea, Cygnus is easily the best song of the album

I was blown away on my first couple of listens (listening to the leaked version). I just ordered the album on amazon, but I'll try to find a quality copy on the webz meanwhile. I remember the first couple of tracks, and the last one in particular to jump out the most.

her harsh vocals in S.S. Needle is one of the highlights of the album, whatchu talking about. Sounds like if Anthony Green didn't have that glossy, perfect production on his screams; truly emotive and expressive. Plus, her cleans such as the intro of Chevron really add a new dimension to the already brilliant CoL formula.

Album is excellent. CoL really know how to progress their sound w/o losing integrity. Hope they record more with Julie. Btw, well written review.
