Onto this now, enjoyed all of their previous ones a lot.

Oh boy, here you go...
I think on my first listen I was genuinely convinced I was listening to one of the best albums ever made somewhere in between Aoharu Youth and Otogi Nation (and that opinion has barely slipped)

First half done, amazing album agreed.
I'll check the last half tomorrow at work, and the first half again too I expect haha!

Bout time I jammed this again in full tbh. Everything from Aoharu Youth onward is just perfect

I'm a CD guy! So I'll blast that one loudly when all this Song Of The Day catch-up is done.

Oh nice, me too aha - thought you bulk buying all of their LPs was a bit steep! Iirc my SOTD pick is on today, which should segue into this v nicely ;]

Niiice! CDs for the win. Lovely medium. Have you seen the Answer CD? It's soooooo cool, super weird. A long book with 4 CD holders, only one of which contains an actual CD, the others contain cartboard discs with pictures and there's a poster and all kinds of weird junk.

Oh weird haha, gonna have a look through this when home. So much of that album is cryptic and weird in its way, so I guess it figures - still don't think I've clicked with it as a whole, defo good stuff but easily my least fave Supercar (and I'd take LAMA over it too)

Same, it's a little weirdo. I like it but there's lots of room for growth still.

Still the best alternative/electronic fix in the game. Imminent 5.

I'm surprised you didn't already. Seems like something you would've had 5'd.

Gonna take that as a compliment ;] This was one of those albums I felt was totally special from the start, but I normally mull over things a while before 5ing and then give them a courtesy spin before doing so. Glad I took the time though - exploring their discog further has only made me appreciate this more

Understandable. I should maybe bump this up too, but I think I'll need some more listens. I could do it based off Storywriter alone, that there's a classic song.

Yeah this one is amazing. I prefer Futurama though. Perhaps with a fresh listening session, I haven't heard this in a while so let's do this!

Storywriter is weirdly one of my least favourites here, but that just speaks for the calibre here - great song
Futurama is amazing and probably also needs a bump, but that one has some filler whereas this is seamless

I'll see whether that holds up after hearing it again in full!
Futurama has some a-ma-zing highs though.

That bit when the glitch beat enters in Nijiiro Darkness and the piano melody refuses to complete itself ugh so good
