A gimmick can work, yes, but this band is way too reliant on it. The songs blended together because I felt like I had heard all the riffs before (i.e. generic) so the vocals just became boring.



I actually went into this album fairly optimistic but this did nothing for me.

this is a little more straighforward "metal" than their debut, which is stylistically all over the place for better or for worse. I actually don't mind the misses on that one because the variety is more interesting overall.

From dusk till dawn is probably one of my favorite babymetal song, love the ambient verses and that chorus is huge, love it
