really disappointing. it's all so samey after the first few songs. man I was hoping for some fucking bangers and got mellow Flatbush, which is cool I love 222 and shit like that, but the whole album was way too relaxed.

The middle section minus Ascension is pretty skippable imo, 3 interlude-y tracks really ruin the flow of the album. Also agree that this wore off the more I listened to it when the opposite usually happens to me.

I gotta say, on this album, with the direction they were going for, the minimalist beats work in it's favor. It really backs the laid back feel, picking up when necessary. It really puts a focus on the trio's lyrics and flows, which are on point more often then not. He did a great job showing them off instead of stealing the show.
