There are some excellent moments here ("Deluge", "Laurentian Ghost"), and some very monotonous ones (the first two songs, for instance). Thankfully, the aforementioned highlights really sparked my interest, mainly because of how the band utilize a strong sense of harmony with the bittersweet nature of the rhythm section and the more or less versatile vocals. "Laurentian Ghost" is beautiful in places and you can almost forget how average the album is to start with. So yeah, it's a mixed bag, but with more great songs than average ones.

I personally applaud them for making an album so soon after Justin's passing. I know it had to be very tough emotionally, let alone having to write / perform a whole new string of songs. Trent especially must have been just been a wreck.
Kudos to you guys. I've always been an ATB fan. They are so humble and friendly. I've met them at their merch booth when they were here in Cincy and I was very impressed.
