This is a pretty unique and amazing album, nothing for the true black metal fan of course.

It's unique yeah, but it's up there with the worst music I've ever heard. If you think it's amazing then more power to you my man.

They are definitely among the less interesting bands on Avantgarde. I jammed this the other day at work. Thought it was a little boring, and the synths stick out more than they should. They use so many different effects but a lot of them do sound kinda cheesy. I don't think it was a 1.5 though, maybe a 2.5 personally. Good review though.

On that Avantgarde note though, if you guys haven't checked out Lupercalia by Selvans I highly recommend it. Really great atmospheric BM, with interesting use of instruments (flutes, accordion, etc.). Totally under the radar.

Everything was going great until that weird bouncy lead / pad wash at 5:40.

Varg had better synths than this in prison.

The opening to Declaration reminds me of a Nightwish song for some reason.. It's probably one of the better tracks on here tbh.
