I think he's the glue to the band. He fits their unhinged sound perfectly. What don't you like about him?

Too metally for me i guess and he does that really fast deep screaming technique like on the first track at the beginning i think that reminds me of really shit metal bands.

at first i was kinda eh about this but it's grown on me. the production is really clean and suits the in-your-face nature of the music in a weirdly perfect way. all the clean parts are just beautiful. i love Blue and Diamonds for Gold especially. Blue came up on shuffle when i was tripping the other night, and yeah, i felt like i did listening to Slipknot in middle school. pretty cool shit.

Yea man this gets better with each listen. I love Waltz of The Madman. Got some creepy riffs on that song.

That Slipknot name drop in the review does not help this sound appealing.

Does for me

One of the better metal albums of this year so far IMO.

Saw these guys open for Periphery and they were so full of energy. The music is fun, if a bit worn, but that makes it worth a listen. I'll keep an eye out for where they go next. If they lean a little harder in the prog direction, they could end up with something akin to Intronaut or East of the Wall.

They came to Houston a few months ago, but I have no interest in Periphery whatsoever so I elected to skip that one.
