Hopefully they don't as long as they keep making music like this.

This is seriously an epic album. Goddamn if only Flight didn't meander so much in the middle. It does in other sections too but the buildups and climaxes are far too incredible to resist.

Agreed, everything goes down so smoothly without being overly twinkly and it all sounded impressively organic.

for me, the first song shouldn't be on that record, it's way too generic. i like the others, some cool ideas. it's still too 'clean' production-wise, harmonically and structurally to reach the quality of any gybe record.

Anyone who hasn't tried The Quietest Place On Earth yet should. Fantastic Cult Of Luna influenced post metal.

This is definitely their crowning achievement and I hope to hear more from them.

The vocals on The Quitest Place tho. Sometimes the vocal delivery is too intense for its own good.

Yea but I'd say that's a common problem with post metal in general though. Even Cult Of Luna, Rosetta, Neurosis and Isis(dare I say it about those two) do it occasionally too.

Just to clarify. I love the vocals.

And the lyrics.

This was actually pretty damn good. Post rock/metal is usually a coin flip for me.
