I love this review and I love you for appreciating this record.

I don't give a fuck anymore, this is LP's underrated masterpiece. The only place where it gets the respect it deserves is the LP Association board (btw, check out Reliving Things and Viscera remix albums if you hadn't yet, they're great).

The only song that I absolutely don't love on this record is Burning in the Skies, cause it has the... blatantly radio-friendly sound, but it's okay too.

^Thanks dude. People have been coming around with this album recently but it still doesn't get enough respect

HT > Meteora > A Thousand Sons > The Hunting Party > Minites to Midnight > Reanimation >>>>>> Living Things >>>>>>>>>>>>> Recharged in my humble opinion

yeah tbh HT and Meteora are more nostalgia albums in the sense of "I remember when I was young and my circle of friends generally enjoyed this" and less in the sense of "I remember when I was young and thought this was the best music ever recorded"

sure doesn't have the same appeal to me now

this, on the other hand, is an album I actively enjoy today and would recommend to just about anyone accompanied by several "no really, I know what you're thinking, but it's great"s

no shame

I can fuck with the interludes because they mood the album well but I do think there are too many
