I enjoy it definitely more than Endgame as a whole. It's no match for Countdown or Youthanasia, and it's probably on par with Cryptic Writings though.

Do people dislike United Abominations that much? I thought that album was great, classic Megadeth. This doesn't hold up to United or Endgame, imo.

UA, Endgame and System are all really great records. I just think this is more consistent and I totally dig the atmosphere on here. Reminds me of good old Countdown days somehow.

Yeah t/t is awesome. Death from Within, Conquer or Die, The Threat is Real, Poisonous Shadows and Fatal Illusion are also sweet jams. Death from Within and Conquer might be my favs on here I guess.

That list is pretty accurate, imo. I like United more than Youthanasia, though. Really only the bottom two are bad. Even 13 has some bangers.

I really wonder why people don't like the system has failed more than this. It's really the best megadeth album in the past 2 decades and i'd even go as far as the best since Countdown...

System is catchy but not particularly high quality, or even containing any classic songs. Youthanasia (which I happen to think is the most underrated Megadeth) and Countdown are a level higher.

It's terrible lol, i usually skip the song.
Countdown is better, yes. But aside from peace sells and rust in peace, there aren't much better albums from megadeth, imo. It's consistently good and there are great songs in it...i really dig blackmail the universe, die dead enough, kick the chair and something that i'm not ^^
Overall, i'd say it's one of the most consistent albums in megadeth's entire discography.

I'm sure "A Tout Le Monde" would irritate me too if French was my mother tongue; song does have a cool solo and that sweet dual guitar harmony as the outro though. The original I'm talking about.....the re-recorded version with Cristina Scabbia was fucking awful.

Yeah...i guess you could get the same feeling from an Australian guy singing something haha (seriously, how crazy is that Australian accent ^^ can't understand anything...even harder than Louisiana or Texas accent to understand for me).
Yeah, music is good but i can't get over the terrible accent on that one. And the rest of the album has never really felt special to me. No song i've ever really found great on the album. It's a good album but it never really reaches the same heights as the ones i mentionned, imo.
