Station To Station is best Bowie for me but he had such a good 70s they're all pretty close

@Tunaboy45 mos def man, diamond dogs is the only relative misstep in the 70's, imo
|
| |
The problem with Diamond Dogs is that it was the third glam album and by that point it was beginning to wear thin, which is why transitioning to the TWD persona was the best move he could have possibly made.

@Tunaboy45 exactly that, couldn't have said it better. station is the renaissance of bowie as an artist.
|
| |
Young Americans was the warm up and Station To Station was where he just nailed it. The way the title track transitions seamlessly from one movement to another never ceases to amaze me.

Very cool, I spun this the day he died, side 1 is so awesome, Width of a circle, I mean come on.
Early Bowie kicks so much ass, too bad the 80's happened to him eventually, just like all the rest

I love glam Bowie and other later stages but I just love this record

I make mine the words of The Intruder. Nice to see someone review this album.
The Man Who Sold The World wasn't one of my first contacts with the music of Bowie. There were others before. However, soon I listen to it, soon I became passionate by it. The Man Who Sold The World is without any doubt the hardest and heavy rock album made by Bowie. In my humble opinion it's an album without weak points. It's also, for me, one of the most interesting and cohesive hard rock albums I’ve ever heard and it represents his first great musical work. And you are right Doctor. The Man Who Sold The World remains an important step in his career. It's far away of Space Oddity, a bunch of songs where almost are really good, and The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust, one of his masterpieces and the great mark of his career. So, in a certain way, The Man Who Sold The World became also a landmark in his vast, diversified and excellent career.
So, you did a good work man. Pos.
