God I love this thing so much. It took a lot longer to fully click than Crazy On the Weekend but lately this has been my go-to Gav listen more so than COTW. I love the more rock songs on COTW of course but there's a certain magic that this and the acoustic tracks on COTW share that's hard to beat.
I dreamt of God last night...

I really have to spend more time with this one

I neglected it when I first checked it last January because I was still stuck in the fever of Crazy On the Weekend and the length and sprawling nature of this made it a less appealing listen at the time. Silly me.

I should really get around to Gav's other projects one of these days but I'm afraid they won't hold up.

That's the one that was completed and released posthumously right? In what way is it different?

Been listening to Evangelist a bit, it's just not the same.

I mean it's not supposed to be the same as this but it's not even particularly good for what it is.

Guess he was just better when he wrote his songs in the bedroom

I do quite like "Whirlwind of Rubbish" which aside from a few extra studio embellishments could have fit on this quite well. I have to respect Toydrum for completing the album though, clearly it was a labor of love and I'm sure some of the money is going to Gav's family.
