"They used to be really good but somewhere along the line they lost their creativity."
Yeah, they lost Ryan Ross.

They have LSD, Lead Singer Disorder. Brandon Urie is so arrogant and honestly does not have a distinct voice, he still tries to act like it is 2005 all over again when it is 2016. I have the first three albums and I have listened to the first four albums. All of their albums have gotten considerably worse. Pretty Odd was a horrible move and complete ripoff of The Beatles, Vices and Virtues was very pretentious, Too Weird was too much like Fall Out Boy at times. I expect this new album to be too cliche.

Brandon isn't all that bad though? I mean he has a distinctive voice when he isn't trying to rip off Patrick Stump, and he's down to earth enough to be constantly thanking his wife and fans for the support so he can't be that arrogant

I'm not sure you can dismiss Vices for arrogance when Fever almost made that it's defining theme...

Yeah but fever was ironic, like tongue in cheek in tongue in cheek humor

I think that's been a defining theme throughout though rather than just confined to early material - it just seemed odd to call him/them out on it for Vices and not anything else...

I still find Vices to be monumentally over-scored. This gets a 3.2 and Vices gets a 3.4? Vices was like 1/3 shit.

I surely enjoyed that album more; had a style more to my liking. Plus, this ain't exactly all killer either.

The only time "Too Weird" was too much like Fallout Boy was in Miss Jackson... It more so was just cringe-worthy dance music.

I've listened to this all the way through at least a couple times a week since it came out, and I'm still waiting to stop liking it, but it's only getting better with every listen. Seriously, this is almost perfect pop. I can see how the lyrics are pretty dumb in places, but that doesn't matter much to me with this kind of music. Just such a jam.

I think I overplayed this to fuck the first few weeks it came out, don't really have an urge to listen to it now

This mainly made me jam stuff from Fever and Vices again.

It seems to me that the band just sat around for hours on each song and threw in every single idea, no matter how bad, and then just pasted it all together and slapped on a record.
