i feel like i would like this even more if i had heard it before suicide season. this has some of their best material, but some of the heavier tracks always felt a bit like b-sides to suicide season to me

suicide season is def their peak to me. perfect blend of the deathcore heaviness, melodies and catchiness. sadness and t/t are so good. i jam that a ton still.

great album just don't love the electronic elements on here. kinda dates it. fun jam tho

suicide season too inconsistent. you've got stuff like the sadness will never end and the title track and then you have absolute dogshit like football season is over and no need for introductions

not great songs but 3 minutes of total run time. no need for intros is a fun little interlude. love everything else.

Thank god they took so little runtime I honestly skip them any time I run through that album. there's some really boring stuff there that gets grating too. meanwhile this is so much bigger, so much more emotional. Suicide Season is the sound of a band struggling between wanting to be emotionally evocative and wanting to be generic partycore. TIAH is where it all came together.

yeah this is for sure more tonally cohesive, i just prefer that blend of fun heavy breakdowns and the melodies.
