Forgot how good this album was. Hadn't jammed it in a while. Definitely their most intense record. I feel like I ran a marathon after the end of Fuck. I'm curious of the alternate universe where they continued with this style, though I think Jordan joining is what truly elevated them.

Every time I listen to this band this is what I think about lol. They really had an interesting style here and could've made a masterpiece if they expanded on it.

Agreed, but still, I love everything they’ve done since even more so I can’t say I’m disappointed, just would’ve liked maybe another album in this vein before we got to Sempiternal.

I’d say Sempiternal is their masterpiece but this is awesome as well. It also has their best song, Crucify Me. Sempiternal has their second best (Hospital for Souls).

Yeah this is pretty much the one actually great thing that BMTH put out. Sempiternal had a few alright tracks but every other album they made is pretty mediocre.

Sempiternal is better but this rips. Love the debut too. New one is one of the worst albums ever made.

I don't like their debut, SS has a couple of jams on it but is nothing special. This album is fucking lit. I feel Sempiternal and TTS are equal, but for completely different reasons. Amo is their best work in my opinion and I get I'm probably the only person on this site to hold that opinion. They're just a all around great band I think.

Amo is even worse than their debut to me. Its just all around bland pop to me.

@SlicePaperMoog I totally get that. Amo is one of those albums I'm not surprised a lot of people hate. I personally think it's an amazing pop record with some outstanding electronic elements, but like I said that's a minority opinion on here. I love everything from this album forward really.

Idk I really dig the debut. Some good ole fashioned fun deathcore.

Yeah I don't really fuck with deathcore much. I'll like a song here or there but it's just not my style. It hurts my sensitive scene kid ears lol

I like Amo. For me, it beats CYB, SS (though the t/t is amazing) and TTS. But it’s definitely not as good as this and Sempiternal.

Yeah deathcore isn’t really my thing either Danred. At all.

The debut was better than most of its contemporaries but thats all I can give it. The whole album is such a mess.

imo Deathcore was good in its infancy during the 90s and early 2000s (Animosity, The Red Chord, Deadwater Drowning, Embodyment, Reprisal). Even then though id still just take Death Metal or Metalcore over it.

Yeah one of my buddies is huge into deathcore, but aside from maybe a rogue Chelsae Grin track or something I haven't heard much that I'm into. I just naturally gravitate to more melodic music, but I get it has it's audience. More power to people who like it though.
