metallica is certainly the bigger band but maidens got the respect, a real fuckin fanbase that gets excited for them. lots of punchlines sell out huge venues (u2, coldplay, phish) but maiden is the real goddamn deal

my dad saw the seventh son tour and it was packed, 4 years later he caught fear of the dark and was telling me a lot of the crowd left after fucking corrosion of conformity and the place was already half-full from the getgo

yeah i love that setlist theyre doing over in europe right now. cant wait for it to come over here. really wish theyd give some love to somewhere in time but it seems to be the bands least favorite record. those stupid ass blaze songs are probably better with bruce anyway but i figure ill be getting beer during them lol
