New album actually bops pretty hard; these guys are firing on all cylinders for sure. That being said, I saw them play the other night, and they absolutely killed it. Nice to see they've only gotten even more crazy since I last saw them in '08.

I love that people are liking the new album, but completely dumbfounded at how this is "boring" compared to it. The instrumentation is definitely more wild here. It's heavier and more technical. And while every slipknot album has its cheesy moments, new album has a lot of them.
