One of my friend jammed these guys the whole time in a one-hour long ride and I thought they sucked a**.

I thought, hey, maybe he just forced-fed us all their worst singles, maybe there's some cool stuff in the deep cuts that he just loves but for some reasons the shuffle just didn't throw at us.

Nope, there aren't. I'm forcing myself through this, I'm at track 6 and my god it's like someone threw all the popular tropes in mainstream music right now in a spin-dryer and this is the result.

Goner it's ok but it's the classic exception to the rule

This review nails it so hard

The problem I have with them is that they're trying so hard to be not mainstream, but rather ironically, they're becoming more mainstream by doing that. I'm not a fan of their music, but their desperation to be "indie" pisses me off.

not to mention how many knocks tyler takes on mainstream pop and rap music despite the fact they dumbed down their sound and lyrical content for this album. p r e t e n t i o u s.
